Effective date: October 2026. Steam & Shine ("we", "us") provides on-site cleaning services across Nairobi and surrounding areas. This policy explains what we collect when you use this website, request a quote or book a service.

What we collect

• Contact details — your name, phone number and, if you provide it, email address.
• Job details — the services you request, your area and location (estate, building or address), preferred dates and access notes.
• Photos you upload — images of items or areas to be cleaned, sent through the booking form or WhatsApp.
• Booking records — quotes, status and history of your jobs with us.

How we use it

• To respond to enquiries, prepare quotes and schedule visits.
• To carry out the service — for example, access instructions for our team.
• To send payment details, booking confirmations and follow-up messages.
• To keep records required for running the business.

We do not sell your information, and we do not display customer names, addresses or photos of homes publicly. Before-and-after photos are published only with the customer's permission.

Who we share it with

Only the team members handling your job. Where we use service providers (for example messaging or hosting), they process data only on our instructions.

How long we keep it

Booking and contact records are kept while you are a customer and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your rights

Under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its use. Contact us on 0728 376 448 and we will respond.
